Two countries. One global team.

We’re Exlora

We started Exlora because of something the two of us kept running into: the distance between China and Europe is mostly a distance of trust. The products are real. The demand is real. The opportunity is real. What’s usually missing is someone on each side who actually understands the other, and who will take on the hard parts so you can cross that gap without losing sleep over it.

We couldn’t find that company, so we built it.

The two of us

Between us, we cover both sides. One of us grew up on each side of this trade, and we’ve each spent years living and working on the other’s. Here’s who we are.

Jay Bian

Shanghai · Shenzhen

I’m Chinese, born and raised in Shanghai and now based in Shenzhen, and I’ve spent my whole career going back and forth between China and the West. For close to a decade I led channel, eCommerce and digital-transformation work across China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong for a European multinational, with earlier stints in Munich and Paris and university in the United States. That mix is the whole point of me. I know how business actually gets done in China, and I know what a Western company expects when it sits down at the table, so I spend most of my time closing the quiet gap between the two. I’m on the side that European companies usually find hardest to reach, and I speak both languages of business, not only the words.

Valencia · Spain

I’m Spanish, based in Valencia, and for two decades I’ve built sales and opened markets across Europe, Latin America and Asia. I’ve taken Chinese-made hardware into Europe and made it sell: structural aluminium, solar mounting, EV charging and battery housings landed into Germany, France and Spain, and brand-protection and traceability platforms rolled out across Spain, Portugal, Italy, the UK, the Netherlands and the Nordics. I’ve sat across the table from Chinese manufacturers and negotiated the terms myself, and I’ve lived and worked in Spain, the Netherlands, the UK, Iceland and Panama. I know the thing that’s hardest to fake: how a European market really decides to trust a new product, and how to get one ready long before it ships.

Between us we work in Chinese, Spanish and English.
Why the two of us works

Two specialists, one on each side, running both.

Plenty of companies will offer to connect China and Europe for you. Most of them sit on one side of the water and promise they understand the other. We sit on both, and we don’t stop at advice: we run the market strategy, the marketing, the implementation and the follow-through ourselves. One of us is Chinese and has lived and worked across the West. The other is European and has worked across three continents, with two decades of real relationships on the ground. We’re two friends from two countries, each a little in love with the other’s, and that isn’t a marketing line. It’s why a European importer can hand us a project and know someone who truly gets the Chinese end is standing behind it, while a Chinese producer can trust that someone who truly gets Europe is opening the door.

The old fears about buying from China, around quality, delivery and after-sales, are mostly five years out of date, but they don’t disappear on their own. Someone still has to do the work that turns “cheaper, in theory” into “delivered, compliant, and standing behind it.” That’s the work we take on, across our Hong Kong sourcing hub and our Spain entry structure, so the hard parts stay with us and the growth stays with you.

We don’t just advise on this. We do it.

We run the model ourselves. When we tell you this works, we’re describing a road we walk every day.

Let’s talk

Two friends, two countries, one global team.

If you’ve got something to move between China and Europe, in either direction, we’d love to hear about it.
